Steelers WR Brown requests trade

Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown's time in Pittsburgh appears to be up.

The Steelers should not struggle to move Brown and get a good return, as teams see him as key piece to take a proverbial next step.

This has happened without a return phone call to Mike Tomlin or Art Rooney, who signed off on. "Time to move on and forward", Brown wrote in the captions for the social media posts.

Brown has been the subject of widespread trade speculation after he failed to show up to work the day before the season finale.

New York Is Having Second Thoughts About Amazon’s Second Headquarters
New York - Long Island City, specifically - was selected as a co-winner, along with land in Northern Virginia, in November . Amazon expected it would face the biggest public backlash to a new headquarters in New York City, Bloomberg has reported .

Per the report, the police in Pittsburgh pulled over Brown back in November when he was speeding away from the scene of a bank robbery. Pittsburgh won the game with Brown watching on the sidelines, but missed the playoffs.

He has been ordered to pay a fine. Brown has recorded at least 1,200 receiving yards and nine touchdowns in each of those campaigns, with a 1,698-yard, 13-touchdown season in 2014 marking career-highs in both categories.

The Vikings have been trying to figure out how to stop Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers for years, Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford seems to always make things hard for Minnesota in their showdowns, and Chicago Bears linebacker Khalil made life miserable for the Vikings in both of their meetings last season. ESPN reported shortly afterwards that he has officially asked the team for a trade.

If traded before March 17, the Steelers would have a dead cap hit of $21.12 million.
