Mortal Kombat 11 will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch on April 23, 2019. If you're interested in watching for yourself, the live stream is set to begin at 1:00 PM EST and will last for an hour.

Tonight's event is expected to reveal more characters - though how many more is up for debate. If we do, it'll likely be very limited at this price.

To that end, the studio is working with QLOC to bring MK11 to Steam - the same port house which fixed the previous game for the XL release and brought out the solid PC edition of Injustice 2.

Here is the first Mortal Kombat 11 gameplay reveal. Obviously, they had a ton of fun and are in full gear to witness the big cover art reveal. Rumours suggest Ronda Rousey may voice Mortal Kombat mainstay Sonya Blade while wrestler's Kofi Kingston and Cody Rhodes would be in attendance.

December 6 saw Scorpion, Raiden, and Shao Kahn shown in the initial announcement and January 17 showed us new characters, fatalities, and gameplay, but there still may be quite a bit left to be seen.

But, for what it's worth, Ed Boon recently posted a picture of what looks like a reptilian lizard type creature which also looks to be from in-game footage. Some believe this is genuinely a confirmation of Reptile, however, YouTuber PND Ketchup has suggested that maybe it could be a double bluff. But we'll find out soon enough.
