Captain Marvel opens in theatres

Captain Marvel, the origin story of Brie Larson's Carol Danvers, will introduce the superhero who is eventually going to play a larger role in Avengers Endgame. Fans of Captain Marvel have been clamoring for the intergalactic hero to hit our screens, and when she does she'll be bringing some of Marvel's most iconic villains with her.

"The thing that I found so unique about this character was that sense of humor mixed with total capability and whatever challenge comes her way", said Larson.

"I've never seen anything like her", Fury later says to one of his colleagues.

The film stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Rune Temte, Algenis Perez Soto, Mckenna Grace, with Annette Bening, with Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.

It's possible Captain Marvel's time travel abilities might be needed in order to access the interdimensional time travel posited in the Erik Selvig theory.

And research indicates that undocumented immigrants are much less likely to commit crime than native-born American citizens. The number of illegal border crossings is down from 1.6 million in 2000 to less than 400,000 previous year .

The movie is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. It will be followed by Avengers: Endgame, which releases on April 26.

"In her words, "[Carol] can move planets; the least I could do is move a vehicle". She got some stuff that can be... I especially like the second one showing Captain Marvel in her full armour. "But I think that means making the movie feel distinct, not just from other female-led movies, but from all the other Marvel movies as well, which I think we try to do on every movie".

Maybe Captain Marvel actually does have the power to time travel in the MCU. We weren't there when he said this quote, and things like tone and inflections are often lost in transcriptions.

"And Tony Stark hasn't figured out how to become Iron Man yet, so ..." Coulson asks Fury. "She's just the beginning", Fury replies.
