According to the prototype renders released by OnLeaks and Digit the upcoming device will feature a triple camera setup on the back held in a square placeholder. The flash, cameras and mic are placed in a staggered design, which looks outright disgusting (I say this now, but if it's true, I'm buying one without question #isheepgamestrong). Firstly the arrangement of camera sensors, LED flash and what appears to be a microphone is nothing like what we've seen in the Mate 20 Pro.

We're a barely a week into 2019 and rumors surrounding Apple's next-gen iPhone lineup are already starting to trickle in.

Apple is reportedly getting in on the camera count war by increasing the number of rear cameras to three and significantly expanding the size of the module. There are two cameras aligned vertically like the iPhone XS, but there will also be a third camera placed between the two, on the side. Above that is an LED flash and a microphone on the bottom, ' the site reported. However, the fact that the next iPhone will come with a triple camera setup on the back will not be changing, until and unless something drastic happens.

Apple is expected to launch three phones this September, successors to the iPhone X, XS, and XS Max.

A recent Bloomberg story mentioned that Apple is interested in Sony's new ToF sensors. Apple's likely to launch three variants of the iPhone in 2019: one low-end model and two high-end models.

Importantly, Onleaks says these images are based on engineering validation test (EVT) hardware, so the designs could change before the phones arrive in September.

TOF or Time of Flight technology is basically the time taken for the light to bounce back off an object to create a 3D map. It still remains to be seen. It will be called iPhone XI (iPhone 11).
