Kevin Spacey is due to appear in court in Nantucket on January 7

Prosecutors asked the judge in the case to deny Spacey's request, and on Monday afternoon district Judge Thomas Barrett issued his decision that Spacey must appear for the hearing.

A MA judge has denied Kevin Spacey's request to skip his appearance in court on accusations that he groped a young man.

Disgraced actor Kevin Spacey will plead not guilty to sexual assault of the 18-year-old son of a Boston TV news anchor at his January 7 arraignment in Nantucket, Mass. District Court, according to an affidavit obtained by the Boston Globe.

Spacey said in court documents, filed on Monday, that will plead not guilty to indecent assault.

The charges against Spacey stem from an alleged 2016 incident that took place in a Nantucket bar.

"He did not report the crime at the time, and that was largely because of embarrassment and fear", she said.

Cummins then accounted for the Indian captain in the same fashion with the specially-positioned Harris holding his second catch. It left the home side - chasing India's mammoth first-innings tally of 443 for 7 declared - tottering on 89 for 4 at lunch.

Spacey could face five years in prison if convicted, however his lawyers have argued the allegations were made by a "drunk sycophant who has no proof of any inappropriate contact".

He could be seen telling the camera: 'You trusted me even though you knew you shouldn't.

He had previously been accused by multiple people of sexual harassment, misconduct and assault.

Kevin Spacey resurfaced to post a freaky Frank Underwood, "House of Cards"-inspired video that addresses his 'fans, ' while authorities announced he is facing a felony charge for allegedly sexually assaulting the teenage son of former WCVB news anchor Heather Unruh".

Star Trek actor Anthony Rapp came forward previous year with allegations the Netflix star made unwanted sexual advances against him as a teenager. You want me back'.
