Adam Bros. Farming cauliflower, lettuce recalled due to possible E.Coli contamination

A farm in California connected with a recall of romaine lettuce earlier this year has recalled other types of produce, due to possible E. coli contamination.

Farming Santa Maria said in a press release it has recalled red leaf lettuce, green leaf lettuce and cauliflower that was harvested from November 27 to November 30.

The recall was initiated after it was discovered that sediment from a reservoir near where the produce was grown tested positive for E. coli O157: H7.

No illnesses connected to those lettuce and cauliflower have been reported. A full list of recalled lot numbers can be found here. Farming, Inc. said. None of the filtered and treated water has tested positive for E. coli, the company said.

"This bacteria may cause a diarrheal illness from which most healthy adults can recover completely within a week", the company said in a press release. More severe infections can lead to kidney failure and even death.

Meanwhile, the Raiders' almost $2 billion stadium in Las Vegas isn't expected to be ready until August 2020. Those options reportedly include either San Diego or Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara according to CBS Sports.

A produce recall from a California grower includes some Giant Eagle products. Consumers, retailers, restaurants and institutions should not sell, use or consume the recalled products.

If you have the suspect cauliflower in your refrigerator, return it to the store where you bought it or destroy it.

'Adam Bros Farming feels a strong commitment to its customers and has worked for years to provide a safe and healthy food supply, ' it said in a statement. The red leaf lettuce was sold to a wholesaler in Minnesota and Tijuana, Mexico The cauliflower was sold to wholesalers in Arizona, California, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tijuana, Mexico, and Canada.

The green leaf lettuce is identified on the package with PLU 4076.
