MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski apologizes for homophobic comment

"If it was a Conservative that said what "crazed" Mika Brzezinski stated on her show yesterday, using a certain awful term, that person would be banned permanently from television.", Trump wrote on Twitter on Thursday.

Trump has a storied relationship with "Morning Joe", calling them "supporters" during his primary campaign but feuding with them since their relationship went south. "Sexualizing gay people this way is created to control them & minimize our worth", Grenell said, while also adding that he didn't think much of Brzezinski's walk-back. Twitter users lit up her account, pointing out that her insult was more akin to Trumpian strategy than anything else, though, thankfully, Brzezinski was quick to respond with an apology.

"Try "toadie" or "lackey" or "stool pigeon" or 'ass kisser, ' or 'traitor, ' but maybe don't equate homosexuality with Mike Pompeo carrying water for the murderous regime in Saudi Arabia", he wrote.

But this is MSNBC and this is Brzezinski, and after all, she has apologized - so free pass it is.

The Hill media reporter Joe Concha quoted Trump's tweet and wrote, "He's not wrong".

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo appeared on Fox & Friends this morning where he appeared to deny that Saudi Arabia's crown prince ordered the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk lashes out against the SEC
In a statement from Tesla to Ars on Monday, the company told us that "We can confirm the settlement is being complied with". Later in the interview, Musk continued to slam the SEC's decision to strip him of his Board Chairman title.

Morning Joe host Mika Brzezinski expressed regret for her choice of words.

It's not the first time Brzezinski has been slammed by Trump.

After a viewer criticized her use of the term, she apologized on Twitter. I'm dead serious, I'm asking: "are these the words of a patriot?" It was widely reported that Trump once offered to officiate their wedding. The morning show hosts have since emerged as two of the president's harshest critics.

So, why did she call him that?

The "Morning Joe" host apologized online after the backlash.

Her audio cut out quickly after. She eventually kinda-sorta admitted writing homophobic slurs. "She'll be back with us tomorrow". "I believe she's probably honest in her apology".
