WASHINGTON-Vice President Mike Pence is facing criticism, not for something he said in a speech on Thursday when honoring the 30th anniversary of World AIDS Day, but for something he didn't say.
The theme of this year's World AIDS Day is "Know Your HIV Status", aimed at encouraging everyone to know their HIV infection state through testing and to access HIV prevention, treatment and care services.
She also would like to see the stigma around those testing positive for HIV to disappear.

Darryl O'Donnell, CEO of the Australian Federation of AIDS Organisations said: "Advances in medicine, technology and health promotion have powered strong progress against HIV. It's a time for us to push the bar even further because it's only by doing that we will bring the epidemic to an end".
