A day later, the Madras High Court restrained the state police from arresting AR Murugadoss till 27 November.

According to the latest update, this move has calmed down the AIADMK leaders who had threatened the makers of Sarkar with dire consequences.

Sarkar landed in trouble when AIADMK ministers claimed that the film criticised the government welfare schemes which were introduced by late chief minister J Jayalalithaa.

After the party members staged protests in various parts of Tamil Nadu, the makers gave in to the political pressure and removed all controversial references from the film. The AIADMK has been protesting since the Diwali release of the movie with senior ministers demanding deletion of the objectionable scenes, besides threatening to initiate legal action if the film crew failed to comply. The director has filed an anticipatory bail petition after being apprehensive of being arrested in connection to the "objectionable" scenes. A scene where a mixer grinder was being burnt has been deleted.

Liverpool have won their last four Premier League matches against Fulham , though this is their first league meeting since February 2014.

However, recently in an interview, TTV Dhinakaran revealed that Komalavalli is not the birth name of Jayalalithaa.

AIADMK has alleged that scenes in the movie criticise previous Tamil Nadu Government of J Jayalalithaa.

The removal of the scenes prompted Raju to declare that the "issue has come to an end" and that the AIADMK would not hold anymore protests.

"We have nothing to do with the film or Vijay", Raju said describing the star as a "dear friend". However, Sun Picture is yet to make an official statement regarding the same. Shanmugam compared the scenes (burning of freebies) in the movie with terrorist activity aimed at instigating violence against the state government.
