The return of Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar has intensified Indian pace attack while youngster Khaleel Ahmed also found his form in the 4th ODI where he picked three key wickets and dismantled West Indies batting.

If India wins the 5th ODI, it will be their 8th consecutive bilateral series win against the West Indies.

West Indies were bowled out in 31.5 overs, and India hunted down their target in a mere 14.5, as Rohit Sharma stroked an unbeaten 63 off 56 balls, adding an unbroken 99 for the second wicket with Kohli.

There was a lot of praise for the Windies batsmen from their captain Jason Holder after the first three ODIs, as they comfortably scored above 250 and gave their bowlers decent totals to defend. Kohli also dealt largely in boundaries, hitting six fours in his 29-ball knock. However, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli did not let the tourists make further inroads in the game. After thrashing the West Indies at Mumbai and taking a 2-1 lead, India arrived at Thiruvananthapuram hoping to finish the series in style. Having already inside-edged once while driving away from his body, Samuels fell in Jadeja's second over, reaching out once again, this time only managing to pop a catch to extra-cover as the ball stopped on him. Windies then drew level at Pune after clinching a 43-run victory.

India opener Dhawan's run of poor scores continued as he chopped on a delivery from Thomas to be out for four, going through the five-match series without a half-century.

The two sides now face each other in the three-match T20 Internationals. The second and third T20I will be played on November 06 and 11 at Ekana International Cricket Stadium in Lucknow and MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
