Kanye West is officially heading to the White House to discuss a series of social and economic issues with U.S. President Donald Trump.

Wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat, the controversial rapper spoke uninterrupted for around 10 minutes as the US President listened. Trump said last week Chicago should adopt the practice to combat high crime and murders in the city, but he told West "I'm open-minded, I'm here".

Actor Ike Barinholtz criticized the timing of the lunch, writing: "It's good to know that while Florida is being pummeled by a storm and the dow is s-tting the bed and a United States "ally" beheaded a journalist that our president is having the world's s--dest lunch with Kid Rock and Kanye West".

West continued: "Let's stop worrying about the future, all we have is today".

"Only after 2024", West said.

"This behavior by Trump didn't start yesterday", he said, pointing out that Brown, 82, had a meeting with the then-president-elect in Trump Tower after the 2016 election. "We have to bring jobs into America because our best export is entertainment and ideas, but when we make everything in China and not in America, we're cheating on our country and we're putting people in positions to have to do illegal things to end up in the cheapest factory ever, the prison system".

Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West is going to do much more than grub with President Donald Trump.

West also discussed clemency for Larry Hoover, who is serving life in prison in a Supermax facility, calling him a "beacon" and "a living statue".

Instead, Swift said she will vote for Democrats Phil Bredesen for Senate and Jim Cooper for the House of Representatives. Cabello's Havana took Pop/Rock Song and Underwood was recognised as the favourite Country Female Artist.

"When I put this hat on, it made me feel like Superman - my favorite superhero".

Also attending is former National Football League great Jim Brown, a civil rights leader who has met with Trump previously, and Jared Kushner.

Wow. If you were wondering which ego was bigger, we have a victor! "Trump is on his hero's journey right now". "He's a smart cookie". "He might not have thought he'd have a insane motherf-er like [me]".

He said that "stop-and-frisk works", but West, told Trump that this strategy is detrimental.

West later told reporters of his verbal stylings: "You are tasting a fine wine that has multiple notes to it".

West is married to reality television star Kim Kardashian West, who pushed Trump to grant a pardon for a drug offender this year. The president said the session "was just set up to be a lunch of two people I like".

After Mike Meyers, who appeared alongside the rapper, took his turn reading a few more planned lines, West added calmly: "George Bush doesn't care about black people".
