The trailer gives us our first brief glimpse of the sands of Agrabah, our titular hero (played by Mena Massoud), the ever-so-famous lamp, the Cave of Wonders and everyone's favourite macaw, Iago.

On the heels of the first poster for the film as revealed by genie-to-be Will Smith, the teaser trailer for Disney's new, live-action version of Aladdin has arrived.

In the original film, "street rat" Aladdin frees the Genie from a magic lamp, earning three wishes in the process. We've been waiting a long time to see Will Smith's Genie, but he wasn't in the first look footage.

Brett Gardner was back in center, but Boone said he wouldn't hesitate to use Hicks in any role off the bench. Brett Gardner walked twice in four plate appearances. "We were pretty confident he was out", Kimbrel said.

The Grammy-Award winning rapper and Academy-Award nominated actor shared the poster on social media with the caption, "LEMME OUT!" We'll have to wait and see. Will shined in various different Genie looks. Just underneath, there's a tagline that reads, "Choose wisely". Naomi and Mena looked flawless as Princess Jasmine and Aladdin.

The new Aladdin is one of several upcoming live-action adaptations of Disney's library of animated classics.

Opening May 24th 2019, Aladdin will be followed by another live-action Disney remake in July the same year as Jon Favreau is set to unleash Lion King. Disney is also developing live-action remakes for their streaming service - titles like The Sword in the Stone and Lady and the Tramp.
