Media reports on Tuesday had said Rosmah had been asked to present herself to the MACC headquarters yesterday morning to assist its investigations.

Madam Rosmah's husband Najib now faces 32 charges comprising counts of criminal breach of trust, money laundering and abuse of power.

Local media reported that Rosmah could faces up to 20 charges, mostly under the country's anti-money laundering law in connection to receiving funds from SRC International, a former subsidiary of 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

"I was informed that she will be brought to the Kuala Lumpur court complex tomorrow", he said.

The anti-graft agency did not say if the charges against Ms Rosmah relate to 1MDB.

Former Prime Minister Najib has pleaded not guilty to multiple counts of money laundering, corruption, abuse of power and criminal breach of trust in the scandal and is to face trial next year.

Last Wednesday, Rosmah was reportedly questioned for almost 13 hours by the MACC.

Malaysians have been outraged by the seizure of around $275 million worth of cash and goods, including a vast collection of Hermes Birkin and other designer handbags, jewelry and watches from properties linked to the couple.

Mr Najib has said most of the seized items were gifts to his wife and daughter and had nothing to do with 1MDB.

Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor has been arrested by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC). She also said she had earned millions of ringgit from her own music album, which wasn't released to the public but was bought by government ministers who were fans of her singing talent.

The couple's world has been turned upside down since Najib lost the May election to his one-time mentor Mahathir Mohamad, who swiftly reopened a probe into 1MDB.
