Roseanne Barr furious her character will be killed off by an overdose

Roseanne: My character gets killed off 'The Conners' by opioid overdose

"Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have chose to cancel her show", ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey responded in a statement released on Twitter.

"They have her die of an opioid overdose", she tells Brandon Straka's YouTube show Walk Away.

During the episode, Roseanne says she's taking the medications for pain but begins getting the drugs from friends when her prescription runs out.

The character's death is plausible, as the last season saw the titular character battling a painkiller addiction, which she took to deal with a knee injury.

Barr was sacked and ABC cancelled the hit series in May after posting a racist tweet.

Liverpool vs Tottenham: Rampent!? Fans aren’t having a bar of Redknapp
How do you prepare for a game when you don't focus on it? " Liverpool will pick them off", Merson told Sky Sports News. The biggest match of the Premier League weekend sees Tottenham host Liverpool at Wembley on Saturday lunchtime.

"Well, I've done some weird things on Ambien", Barr said.

The news of Roseanne's firing came after the first season had aired, so how she was going to be killed off has remained a mystery to fans of the show, until now that is. "They have her die of an opioid overdose", she said.

Barr said she's not happy with the way she'll be written out of the show. "(But it) so cruelly insults the people who loved that family in that show".

Following the cancellation, ABC ordered The Conners, a spin-off starring original cast members John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson and Michael Fishman. Still, Barr had been upsetting left-wing Hollywood for months before the Jarratt tweet with her support of President Donald Trump and her increasing turn toward center-right political ideas. I want to stay away from it. "I did what I had to do to save my own life and I did it". "There's no fight left".

"The Conners" will premiere on ABC on October 16.
