Speculations are sky high on what all Cupertino giant may launch at its "gather round" event scheduled to be held at Steve Jobs Theatre in Apple Park, Cupertino.

A new and upcoming iPad Pro could come with a USB-C port instead of Apple's proprietary Lightning port, according to Apple analyst Ming Chi Kuo, who has a great track record with Apple device predictions.

Ming-Chi Kuo emphasised the charger that will come with forthcoming iPads will feature a "new 18W adapter".

Among the new products set to be released is an upgraded version of the iPhone X with a 5.8-inch screen and to try and prompt Australian consumers who forked out over $1,400 an iPhone X previous year Apple has added a faster processor and upgraded cameras.

"This all-in approach will likely see the launch of an affordable specimen - touted as the iPhone XC - as well as a reboot to the iPhone X and a larger X model".
