Tom Arnold tells Jimmy Kimmel the Trump N-word tape is absolutely real. The Daily Show hopes it isn't.

Until this week, that is, when Omarosa Manigault Newman, the controversial former White House staffer and reality star, released the latest in her series of surreptitiously recorded conversations with members of the Trump circle.

Manigault Newman has made a flurry of media appearances over the last week to promote her new book, "Unhinged".

The White House has countered by branding Manigault Newman as a disgruntled former staffer with credibility issues who is now trying to profit from a book based on false attacks against an individual she has called a mentor and has admired for more than a decade.

According to the former "Apprentice'"star turned Trump foe, she has been documenting everything Trump does because his story can change throughout the day". I will not be intimidated.

Manigault Newman speculated that Melania Trump "is counting every minute until he is out of office and she can divorce him" and that if she was to leave him while he was still occupying the Oval Office, "he would find a way to punish her".

As Emily Stewart wrote for Vox, "The portrait Manigault-Newman paints of the Trumps' marriage is full of petty insults and one-upmanship".

Simon & Schuster this week also dismissed threatened legal action from Trump's campaign.

She accused the president of using his rowdy political rallies to sow discord, even suggesting Trump is promoting violence. Mr Trump's latest attack on Ms Manigault Newman prompted immediate criticism from lawmakers and others.

Manigault Newman, who rose to fame on "The Apprentice" and was sacked from the administration in December, argued she was as an advocate for the black community during her time in the White House.

"I talk about a particular scene in the book where Donald Trump walks up and he grabs a woman during a shoot, a TV Guide shoot that I'm a part of, and he grabs her and starts talking to her in inappropriate ways", she added.

Since releasing the tape of her firing, Manigault Newman has teased the possibility of making more recordings public.

In the recording, Lara Trump can be heard saying, "It sounds a little like, obviously, that there are some things you've got in the back pocket to pull out".

Manigault Newman also alleges that tape exists of Trump using a racial slur while working on "The Apprentice".

"I don't give a damn about what an N-word tape would mean for Donald Trump, I care what it would mean for black people", Wood said.
