The Nigerian Super Eagles will be playing against Iceland in their second game at the World cup having lost their first match by two goals down to Croatia.

Group D is now set for a blockbuster finale on Tuesday when Iceland take on already-qualified Croatia in Rostov and Nigeria face Argentina in St. Petersburg.

Nigeria's John Obi Mikel speaks to the media upon the team's arrival at Mineralnye Vody International Airport on June 11, 2018, ahead of the Russian Federation 2018 World Cup football tournament.

In only the second win for an African side in Russian Federation so far, Nigeria broke the deadlock in the 49th minute when Victor Moses, playing as a wing-back, lofted a pass towards Musa who deftly controlled the ball and smashed in the half volley.

Iceland held Argentina to a 1-1 draw in its opening match, with Lionel Messi missing a penalty. If Nigeria wins, it will advance to the round of 16.

And on the stroke of half-time Finnbogason came within a whisker of doubling his World Cup tally when he flashed wide Gylfi Sigurdsson's whipped in free-kick.

Against Croatia, the former Racing Genk starlet was one of the most outstanding players on the pitch, finishing the match with a game-high five aerial duels won and was the top man in tackles.

Musa made the game safe with his second, controlling a long ball without breaking stride and beating Kari Arnason before rounding Halldorsson and powering his shot past two covering defenders on the line.
