Mohamed Salah is set to feature in Egypt's second World Cup game against hosts Russian Federation on Tuesday.

It is hoped that the Liverpool forward will feature in their next game as he watched the full match from the bench.

Salah, who sustained the injury in Liverpool's Champions League final loss to Real Madrid on May 26, is crucial to Egypt's hopes of making it out of a weak-looking Group A also featuring hosts Russian Federation and Saudi Arabia.

In the second round in group A will play: Russia - Egypt (19 June) and Uruguay - Saudi Arabia (June 20).

Egypt will train at Krestovsky Stadium on Monday evening ahead of Tuesday's match against Russian Federation, who opened the tournament with a 5-0 trashing of Saudi Arabia in Moscow.

Suarez, who had a frustrating afternoon, forced goalkeeper Mohamed Elshenawy into a decent stop straight after half-time, the Barcelona striker slamming his boot into an advertising board in anger.

For a few days now, there has been a speculation if Mohamed Salah will be able to play the opening game of Egypt vs Uruguay which is slated to happen tomorrow at Grozny, Ekaterinburg.

Spanish port to accept 629 stranded migrants snubbed by Italy
Spain's new Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez stepped in, offering the boat safe harbor in the eastern port city of Valencia. Malta, for its part, has consistently refused to take in migrants, citing its small size and limited capacities.

"I like the best players to play, I train with the best and I want the best players to play", said Muslera.

Real Madrid and Spain captain Sergio Ramos was the man who inflicted the shoulder injury that put Salah's World Cup at risk. "The experience today will help us grow, but we can't make too much of it".

Cuper's side haven't won in six games since Salah's double over the Congo saw them secure their place at the quadrennial competition.

On Salah's absence, he added: "If Mo Salah had been on the pitch, I'm sure Egypt would have benefited".

While Salah is grabbing all the attention in the lead-up to the match, the La Celeste themselves have two of the most lethal forwards going around in Edinson Cavani and Luis Suarez.

That said, we don't know yet if he is actually on the team sheet but team news should be in extremely shortly.

Cavani and Suarez didn't receive the support they needed and at times had to return to the middle of the field as playmakers, not a role for a duo which has combined for 93 global goals. And Cuper hinted on Thursday that it was the player who had the final say whether to play.
