Eagles coach Doug Pederson expressed disappointment that his team was not able to participate in the White House ceremony to celebrate their Super Bowl championship, but he tried to push past the controversy after the Trump administration canceled Tuesday's visit and accused the Eagles of a "political stunt". He declined to provide information on how things escalated to the White House accusing players of abandoning their fans by deciding to not attend.

Speaking to her, he added, "The people love you, the people of our country love you".

"I'm not discussing it because we've got two OTA practices, I've got a mandatory minicamp next week, and I'm focused on that".

"The Eagles are the ones who tried to changed their commitment at the eleventh hour", Sanders said.

"What you've seen and what you've heard is enough", Pederson said.

Many on social media praised Jenkins for using his platform to highlight issues that are important to him and for pointing to the work his fellow National Football League players have done to better their communities.

At the meeting, Trump said his wife "went through a little rough patch, but she's doing great".

Canada has responded by imposing dollar-for-dollar tariff "countermeasures" on up to $16.6 billion worth of USA imports. Before the establishment of the federal income tax in 1913, tariffs were a big money raiser for the USA government.

On Tuesday, the first lady strolled into a White House event Monday for military families and swept away the wild speculation that she was incapacitated or had otherwise vanished.

Some of Jenkins' other cards included the number of African-Americans in the prison population, the number of juveniles who are arrested each year, one that mentioned the $1 million former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick gave to charities, and the fact that Long donated his salary last season to education programs.

"We're united. We're a team".

Long blocked a question about whether he wished Lurie had stood up and said something in support of the Eagles. "It hasn't come up here, but I think I already have my mind made up". Foles and Wentz didn't make themselves available for comment. Brady also didn't make an appearance in 2017 and that reportedly made Trump angry. "So we just have to continue to stay on topic and continue to push the issues - and not this narrative of who's right and who's wrong, but what are the reasons why players are even so passionate about this". "I think that's the bigger disappointment".

"That's weird. Trump is canceling events if a lot of people aren't showing up? I can tell you this the objective is not to win the Super Bowl so I went to the White House".

"The White House felt the rug was pulled out from under them", said Fox News contributor Raymond Arroyo on Fox News' "The Ingraham Angle" Wednesday night.
