On the occasion of the World Environment Day, Sudan government has declared a campaign to eliminate plastic pollution.

Sade Nubi, a Senior Environmental Engineer with the Department of Works and Physical Planning, said that the event involved a walk for the environment and a presentation on beating plastic pollution on campus.

Every year, June 5 is observed as World Environment Day and people could adopt simpler things to reduce the planet's vulnerability.
