While the Obama White House released light videos, the Trump presidency has heralded a more polarized era, and so the attempt at a light viral video by the Trump team did not escape attention.

Ivanka Trump, the president's daughter, opened up the video, declaring that it was "so clearly Laurel!"

The student, Katie Hetzel, said she searched for the word on Vocabulary.com, but when she played the pronunciation recording, she thought she was actually hearing "yanny". In fact, I began to wonder how in the world anyone could hear "Laurel".
