Ohio State quarterback Joe Burrow has made a decision to leave the school as a graduate transfer.

Considering LSU is now interested in Burrow, that depth chart uncertainty must have created an uneasy feeling for head coach Ed Orgeron.

Sports Illustrated's Andy Staples reported LSU and Cincinnati have been granted permission to talk to Burrow, who announced his transfer from Ohio State earlier in the day.

Burrow, 6-foot-3, 215 pounds, will have two years of eligibility remaining and, as a graduate transfer, will be eligible right away. Florida, Nebraska, UCLA and OH have also been mentioned as potential landing spots for Burrow.

Play went on for 25 more seconds before the buzzer rang, with the situation room in Toronto calling for a video review. Marc-Edouard Vlasic picked it up and had it on his stick for a moment before it was knocked off by Karlsson.

We finally have an answer to what Joe Burrow is going to do now that he has graduated, and - as expected - the junior will be transferring from Ohio State.

While Orgeron doesn't make the list of coaches on the hot seat entering the 2018 campaign, he's aware of the pressure at LSU to win big every season.

Sources on the Ohio State side have mentioned LSU as a very likely contender in this race, and based on Orgeron's comments just a week ago, there is certainly a line being drawn in the sand here.

LSU's quarterbacks didn't have a great spring, as neither Myles Brennan nor Lowell Narcisse or any other quarterback had memorable performances. Transferring to LSU, meanwhile, would make Burrow a fourth option in a quarterback battle where none of the returning players have ever started.
