Weather Authority: Warmer today, wet and cooler for the weekend

Normally we wouldn't celebrate temperatures in the 60s, but recent trends are getting us into the habit of celebrating even mediocre weather.

By tomorrow night our rain chances decrease to 50% and a much colder air mass returns behind the front. So if we don't make it to 42, we will set the lowest high temperature record for that date. Rain and storm chances will increase as the day progresses.

Looks like the best chance to see storms will be overnight Sunday into the early hours of Monday. Cool temperatures in the beginning of the week will give way to a warming trend midweek through the end of the work week. Sustained winds of at least 40 mph.or gusts of 58 mph or stronger may occur.
