Some of the features of the new Gmail were detailed in media reports.

The search engine giant has another feature up its sleeve called "confidential mode" that will allow users to limit what recipients can do with the emails you send, preventing them from being forwarded, downloaded or printed, according to another report in The Verge. In addition, the sender is given the option to set an expiration time/date for the email ranging from hours to years.

The expiring emails feature works similarly to the expiring emails feature in ProtonMail as the email becomes unreadable after some time. Google has provided information related to new design and possible features to its G Suite administrators recently.

"We need a bit more time to compose ourselves, so can't share anything yet - archive this for now, and we'll let you know when it's time to hit send", reads a portion of the statement. It is still not clear whether the Gmail service users will be able to send the confidential/self-destructing emails to the other email platforms or not.

A recent report suggests that Google is working on a new Gmail design, and that it may feature self-destructing emails.

Seahawks postpone visit after Colin Kaepernick won't say if he'll stop kneeling
In October, Kaepernick filed a grievance against the NFL alleging the owners colluded to blackball him from the league. Kaepernick led San Francisco to the Super Bowl in 2012 where they fell to the Baltimore Ravens.

Moreover, Gmail will also allow you to set a deadline for certain emails, which, when reached, will trigger the automatic complete deletion of the chosen emails.

If you screw up in a way that gets any sort of media attention, chances are you won't like what you see when you run a query for your name on Google.

The ruling came about after a case brought against Google by Spaniard Mario Costeja Gonzalez, who wanted two newspaper articles dating back to 1998 to be deleted from the search results page. Recipients will then receive an e-mail that requires them to click a link and input their Google credentials to view the e-mail. On the other hand, Google generates an email with a link in Gmail's current implementation. It is speculated that this new feature is closely going to follow the update in Gmail's interface. That means you never have to leave your inbox to create a to-do list or reschedule a meeting.

End-to-end encryption is also not mentioned by Google anywhere. But users can take screenshot or photo of email.
