Salman Khan verdict Rs 400-600 crore rides on him in Bollywood

The 52-year-old actor killed the two blackbucks - a protected species - near a remote village in Rajasthan's city of Jodhpur late on october 1 night in 1998 while shooting a movie. We have no confirmation Preity is in Jodhpur to meet Salman but the actor's fans have decided she is and are truly impressed by her commitment to their friendship and have flooded Twitter with posts on how she's setting friendship goals. Actors Tabu, Sonali Bendre, Saif Ali Khan and Neelam Kothari were acquitted.

The defense cited the unreliability of the eyewitness and the acquittal of the actor in other similar cases against him as reasons for granting him bail. This news surely has shocked the whole Bollywood industry as now, he is the biggest superstar of Bollywood industry.

The actor insists he is innocent.

His family members, including sisters Arpita and Alvira, have been in Jodhpur since Wednesday to be with Khan. Forbes estimated that Khan made $37 million in 2017, making him the ninth-highest paid actor in the world and the second-highest paid actor in India (Bollywood's Shah Rukh Khan was ranked eighth on the Forbes list). Salman was on Thursday sentenced to five years in jail, with a penalty of Rs 10,000 in connection with the 1998 blackbuck poaching case.

After twenty years of the incident, the court in Rajasthan State find the Bollywood star guilty of the crime of poaching and sentenced him to five years in prison and pay a small fine.

Kevin Barry says Joseph Parker will definitely fight Anthony Joshua again
But a game Parker kept going and the boos at the end of the contest appeared to be aimed at the referee rather than the boxers. The Brit beat Kiwi Joseph Parker via unanimous points decision to add his WBO title to his own WBA, IBO and IBF belts.

He was charged under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act and others under Section 51 read with Section 149 (unlawful assembly) of the Indian Penal Code.

After a thorough medical check-up, the actor was given a blanket and allotted ward number 2 to spend the night. His bail request will be heard tomorrow.

Others from the industry did sympathise with the 52-year-old star, but were cautious.

For the past 20 years, the witnesses from the Bishnoi community - which reveres the blackbuck - have maintained that Salman killed the two blackbucks.

He later retracted his charge but the trial court judge refused to accept it and convicted Ahuja based on circumstantial evidence.
