"Hey Netanyahu! You are occupier".

"Hey Netanyahu, you're an occupier", Erdogan said in a televised speech on Turkish TV. "But you are not concerned with terrorists because you yourselves are a terror state", Erdoğan said, addressing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

"What you do to the oppressed Palestinians will be part of history and we will never forget it", he said, adding: "The Israeli people are uncomfortable with what you're doing".

Israel's defence minister rejected on Sunday calls for an inquiry into the killing of 15 Palestinians by the military during a Palestinian demonstration that turned violent on Friday at the Gaza-Israel border.

Earlier on Saturday, the Turkish president "strongly condemned Israel for its inhumane attack" against the Palestinian people.

"The most moral army in the world will not be lectured to on morality from someone who for years has been bombing civilians indiscriminately", Netanyahu wrote. "Apparently, that's how they mark April 1 in Ankara".

Iran Urges Saudi Arabia to End Yemen War, Engage in Dialogue
Much of the Arabian Peninsula country's infrastructure, including hospitals, schools and factories, has been reduced to rubble due to the war.

"I have not heard worthy opposition to the Israeli massacre in Gaza from those who criticized the operation in Afrin", he said, referring to Turkish actions in the Kurdish enclave in Syria.

Israeli military Gen Ronen Manelis told journalists on Saturday that Hamas - the militant group that controls Gaza - was using protests as a cover for launching attacks on Israel.

He said the IDF used "pinpoint fire" wherever there were attempts to breach or damage the security fence. Manelis noted that all those who were killed were "ages 18 to 30... and at least two of them were members of Hamas commando forces". "Israel will get trapped under the oppression it inflicts in Palestine".

Erdogan's remarks came after at least 16 Gazans were martyred and hundreds injured on Friday when Israeli forces opened fire on protesters marking "Land Day".

No Israeli government would ever be likely to accept this demand, since it would spell the end of Israel as a Jewish-majority state.
