Winter Storm Watch to go into effect for central Indiana on Saturday

It will be breezy overnight with wind gusts as high as 25 miles per hour. Lows will be in the mid- to upper-40s and low 50s.

This unsettled weather will end today....brighter skies are ahead for Monday. A few showers are possible after 8 PM Monday, but a lot of the activity looks to stay just north of the viewing area. But we will not only see a warm-up by midweek we will also see our rain chances increasing.

We have seen a lot of cloud cover today and not much rain.

Tuesday will be moslty sunny with a high of 46 and a low of 36. Some thunderstorms are possible as well. By tonight, through the overnight hours and into Monday morning; the backdoor cold front will push east to west but with limited moisture widespread, rain is not expected through tomorrow afternoon. Highs Wednesday and Thursday will be in the low to mid 60s.

The Police have arrested 20 suspected criminals in Tesano and its environs as part of efforts to tackle crime in the area. The boy crashed the auto after police tried to pull him over and was arrested when he attempted to run away.

Scattered rain and snow showers developed Saturday afternoon and these will continue through the evening time.

EXTENDED FORECAST DETAILS: The week will start off cool and dry as high temperatures remain in the 50s.

Dry and cool high pressure will build into the Cape Fear Region as the new work week begins.
