If this report by DigiTimes is indeed true, it will be much easier to get your favorite iPhone model this year.

"...the new device's MBOM will be more than 10 percent lower than that for iPhone X. He added that the MBOM of the iPhone X was more than US$400 in 2017". Following the iPhone X Plus, the company is set to update their existing iPhone X model, as well as introduce a newer, cheaper option with fewer features.

9to5Mac, which earlier reported on the Digitimes report, said that it's possible the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone could cost customers $800. A cheaper 5.85-inch OLED iPhone might then be Apple's answer to those concerns. This will include a successor to iPhone X, the iPhone X Plus, which is said to feature a massive 6.5-inch display and a more affordable 6.1-inch model that will be touting an LCD display.

If Apple wants to offer customers a tangible reason to upgrade to new iPhones - something that's proving increasingly hard these days, considering the surprisingly poor performance of the iPhone X in the market - then something like a faster refresh rate could do the trick.

Paul Lambert says Stoke deserved more from Everton defeat
Everton can begin to look forward to next season in the Premier League, according to manager Sam Allardyce . I think we deserved at least a point.

Apple has established a secret facility in California to develop and manufacture next-generation MicroLED screens, a Bloomberg report has revealed.

According to the information that is available right now, there are going to be three new smartphone models that Apple will be announced during the month of September. However, news of the shift from OLED to in-house displays has roiled stocks of Apple's existing screen suppliers across Asia. The iPhone-maker now sources OLED panels from Samsung Display for the iPhone X.

In Apple's case, perfecting MicroLED screen production would remove the need to rely on companies including Samsung, Japan Display, Sharp, and LG Display. This is the primary reason why many have come to love the tech company's products -to the point of always looking out for news and rumors detailing Apple's newest product offerings. The sooner Apple can deliver that improvement, the better it'll be for the competitive positioning of Apple's iPhone X series of smartphones.

It will be interesting to see if the rumored iPhone X SE 2 turns out to be the same iPhone that Lin claimed could be the cheapest of the three iPhones. While the display on the iPhone X is extremely color accurate, it's still not quite flawless.
