Bizarre sea creature washes up in Georgia

That's what some people are saying after a man found a odd sea creature on the beach of Wolf Island National Wildlife Refuge in Golden Isles, Georgia.

As News4Jax reports, Jeff Warren and his son were spending the day at Wolf Island National Wildlife Refuge, when Jeff noticed something mysterious in the surf. Some are even calling the sighting a hoax.

When the photos of the creature started going viral, social media users also pointed out that it looked like the mythical Altamaha-ha - a river monster who lurks in the Altamaha River, just west of Wolf Island. The Prehistoric Wildlife website shows a picture of the Plesiosaurus with its long neck and small head, much like how the aquatic Loch Ness Monster looks from Scottish folklore.

One of the questions skeptics of cryptozoology always ask is, "Why haven't we ever found a DEAD sasquatch, chupacabra, or Loch Ness monster?"

Russian Federation expels 23 British diplomats
UK-Russia relations have been fractious ever since the assassination of another former Russian spy, Alexander Litvinenko, in 2006. The Russian statement said the government could take further measures if Britain takes any more "unfriendly" moves toward Russia.

Last year, another mysterious sea creature washed up on the shoreline in southwest Texas after the floods prompted by Hurricane Harvey.

Warren told WBIR that he went to Skipper's Fish House and locals told him about a legend named "Alty", their own version of the Loch Ness Monster.

But this isn't the first (or second) time that a weird "mystery" creature has washed up, and so far they've always gone on to be identified with a perfectly reasonable explanation.

Warren said in an interview with the Jacksonville, Florida, station he initially thought the animal was a dead seal, but after looking closer he described the approximately 5-foot-long creature as more of a "Loch Ness-type thing".
