Marcos Alonso celebrates his goal against Arsenal last season

Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has stated clearly that he has no intention of leaving the Premier League champions at the end of the ongoing season.

Fortunately for Blues fans, the two-time Premier League victor wants to remain at Stamford Bridge.

However, he has now insisted that he is exclusively focused on helping the Blues achieve their goals this season.

"The second season to play the Champions League and to go again for the top four - I'm at home, this is my club and I'm a Chelsea player".

Chelsea are struggling to qualify for the competition next term as they now sit five points outside the top four in the Premier League. Alonso has proven himself to be equally adept in both attack and defensive over the last couple of seasons, and was an integral part of Chelsea's 2016/2017 Premier League winning side.

Bailey did not appear on the broadcast, as has been tradition in the past. In December, the Academy adopted a code of conduct for its members.

'We will fight until the end to finish in the top four and to get in a Champions League position, ' continued Kante.

The England defender's future at Old Trafford has been thrown into doubt after he was substituted at half-time in the 2-0 FA Cup quarter-final win over Brighton and it is no secret Mourinho wants Tottenham Hotspur left-back Danny Rose as a replacement for Shaw.

While Antonio Conte's side have failed to live up to the standards they set last season, Alonso has nevertheless remained an important figure in the side, particularly given the lack of cover they have on the left flank.

"It is the only trophy we can win this season, so we have to give everything to get to the final and win it".

The France worldwide has three years left to run on a contract that reportedly earns him £150,000-a-week, and Chelsea regard him as central to their long-term plans.
