Three men from rural central IL were charged with the Minnesota mosque bombing a year ago. A fourth man, Ellis Mack, 18, was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a machine gun, but is not linked to the bomb attacks. The authorities say that the men, who are all from Clarence, Ill., were illegally in possession of assault rifles from October 2017 to March 2018. But federal authorities in Minnesota charged them with additional counts of arson for their alleged roles in the August 5 explosion at Dar Al-Farooq Islamic Center in Bloomington, Minnesota. No one at the Minnesota mosque was injured, but the building sustained minor damage.

"That bombing that took place last summer was a tragedy for all Minnesotans", U.S. Attorney Gregory Brooker said, adding that it remains a top priority for law enforcement.

Hari was arrested Tuesday morning while traveling to a court appearance in Ford County, for a hearing in an assault case. According to the affidavit, Hari often stays at his parents' home because his home has no running water or electricity.

This morning, law enforcement agents executed search warrants at the home of Hari's parents, in Paxton. He claimed that it was Mr. Hari's idea to target the mosque and that Mr. Morris had smashed the mosque's window with a sledgehammer, according to the affidavit. An affidavit says the men broke a window to the imam's office and threw a pipe bomb containing black powder into the mosque.

McWhorter allegedly told an Federal Bureau of Investigation agent during an interview that the three rented a pickup in Champaign and drove more than 500 miles (805 kilometers) to Minnesota with a plan to bomb the mosque, according to a criminal complaint.

It identifies them as Michael B. Hari, 47; Joe Morris, 22; Michael McWhorter, 29.

Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ Launched: Offers More Power, Faster Networking
The Model B+ supports gigabit (1000 Mbps) Ethernet, though the required USB 2.0 connection limits the speed to about 315 Mbps max. Since then we've had many challengers to the Raspberry Pi, and it's fair to say on performance the Pi is falling behind .

Later Tuesday, the executive director of the Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations said that there were still many questions that need answering.

"What would cause somebody who lives in IL to target this mosque?"

Officials said at the time that witnesses saw someone throw something from a truck or van before the blast and saw a vehicle speed away afterward.

"The mosque here in Bloomington has several neighbors creating and engaging this anti-Muslim kind of language and sharing it, online, to every single anti-Muslim group in the country", said Hussein.

A Minnesota Muslim leader is welcoming the arrests of three men from central IL suspected in the bombing of a suburban Minneapolis mosque last summer.

At the news conference, Chief Potts said that the authorities hoped the arrests would represent "a significant portion of the healing process for Dar Al Farooq". "We are calling every single person of each faith and none, to stand up and speak out about this kind of injustice".
